Tournament overview
PUBG Mobile Macao Invitational 2026 brought 25 teams to Studio City Macao from June 29 to July 5. Twenty-four teams started in a three-group stage, with the best 15 joining directly qualified All Gamers in the 16-team Grand Finals. The event offered a ¥2.9 million prize pool, worth about $427,000, and the finals featured 18 matches across Rondo, Erangel and Miramar.
The decisive weekend used the Smash Rule on the final day. A team first had to reach the point threshold and then win a Chicken Dinner to become champion. Tianba led after the second day with 106 points, narrowly ahead of Aurora Gaming, but the final session reshuffled the order. FURIA climbed to 146 points, Nongshim RedForce reached 145, Tianba finished on 142 and Aurora ended on 125. Several teams became eligible to close the tournament, so every late-game rotation carried championship stakes.
The most dramatic moment arrived in Match 18 on Miramar. Nongshim RedForce secured the final Chicken Dinner and immediately ended the event under the Smash Rule. FURIA had one more point in the raw standings, but Nongshim satisfied the victory condition and lifted the trophy. Tianba’s Qzz earned the Finals MVP award after an outstanding individual run. The ending was a perfect example of why the format is so tense: the points table kept FURIA on top, while one decisive win made Nongshim the champion.
