Tournament overview
Riyadh Masters 2026 was the Dota 2 championship at the Esports World Cup, played in Riyadh from July 7 to 19. Twenty-four teams entered a multi-stage competition for a $2 million prize pool and valuable EWC Club Championship points. The expanded field created room for established contenders and less familiar qualifiers to collide before the single-elimination playoff bracket.
PARIVISION produced the strongest playoff run. The team swept Rune Eaters 2-0 in the quarterfinal and then survived a 2-1 semifinal against Team Yandex. BetBoom Team reached the title match from the other side of the bracket, while Team Yandex secured third place and Vici Gaming finished fourth. The tournament also became an important test for PARIVISION’s refreshed lineup, with Noticed joining shortly before the event.
BetBoom struck first in the best-of-five Grand Final, but PARIVISION immediately changed the rhythm of the series. They won the next three games, including a long 62-minute second map, and closed the final 3-1. The last game ended with a dominant 29-7 kill score. PARIVISION collected $750,000, and offlaner Evgeniy “Noticed” Ignatenko was named tournament MVP after his impact in the decisive playoff matches.
