Learn How to Play
Grand Patron makes the two horizontal reels above and below its main grid the centre of attention. Their paired symbols can add Wilds, explode matching symbols, lock positions or modify payouts. The result is a 20-line BGaming slot whose most important information often sits outside the ordinary reels.

The current BGaming profile dates Grand Patron to July 8, 2024 and lists twenty paylines with a maximum multiplier of 10,000x. Its crime-film setting supplies the characters and barred-reel artwork, while the two additional horizontal reels supply most of the mechanical variety. In the main game, each reveals one active symbol per spin.

The five main reels pay matching symbols from left to right across consecutive positions on a payline. Only the highest win on a line is paid, and simultaneous wins on different lines are added. The extra reels then introduce interactions that can change the symbols or the way a result develops.
There is an official-source discrepancy worth stating once. The current game profile gives 96.67% RTP and a low-high volatility label, while the linked version 1.0 PDF rules, effective October 31, 2023, state 96.66% RTP. We report the profile figure as the current published specification and retain the older document's value rather than pretend the two match. The active game's information panel is the relevant reference for the build being played.
Matching ordinary symbols on the two additional reels add three copies to random positions on the main grid. Matching Wilds add three Wilds instead. A Wild paired with an ordinary symbol turns that symbol into a Wild for the spin. These are different interactions, even though each can result in more useful symbols on the main field.

The Bomb feature removes the ordinary symbol matched on the opposite additional reel after the spin. Remaining symbols fall and new ones enter before another win check. Two Bombs clear the main field and trigger a respin. A Bomb intervention changes the layout; it does not guarantee that the replacement symbols will produce another winning combination.
A Prison symbol paired with an ordinary symbol locks matching positions for a respin. Two Prison symbols fill the main field with one randomly selected paying symbol, producing wins across all twenty lines. This whole-screen event has a different scope from holding just the matched symbols.
Multiplier symbols affect payouts through another pairing rule. The current page says two multiplier values are added, whereas the older PDF describes multiplication. Because the official documents disagree, this review does not present a universal numerical example for that pair. A multiplier paired with a regular symbol boosts that symbol's winning combinations according to the applicable rules.
Two Scatters on the additional reels trigger twelve free spins. In the bonus, the horizontal reels open up and can produce more paired interactions than the single active cells of the main game. The current profile describes the extra cells unlocking progressively, giving the outside reels a larger role as the round develops.

The Prison mechanic can add three free spins. The linked rules restrict the Prison-plus-symbol or double-Prison event to one such occurrence during the bonus. This is useful context when judging the round: the feature should not be described as an indefinitely repeatable source of extra spins.
Three Buy Bonus options offer different starting conditions. The first triggers the standard Scatter entry. The second guarantees a Prison-plus-symbol combination from the first bonus spin. The third starts with double Prison; the PDF also excludes Bomb combinations from that purchased mode. The prices appear in the game and should be evaluated at the chosen stake.
A separate paid chance option increases the stake and bonus-entry chance. The PDF says it and Buy Bonus cannot be active together. Neither choice removes the randomness of later spins or turns a paid entry into a guaranteed profitable round.
Our verdict is that Grand Patron suits players who want to interpret combinations of feature symbols rather than wait for a single familiar Scatter trigger. Its strength is the interaction between the outer reels and the central field. Its cost is complexity, including an official documentation difference that makes reading the active rules especially worthwhile.
